Homage to the “Grand” Sculpture Unveiling

There will be an opening of an art exhibition, Homage to the “Grand”, on the 11th of June 2012, Monday, at seven o’clock in the evening at the Cascapedia River Museum.

Homage to the “Grand” marks the beginning of a collection of bronze sculptures aimed to pay tribute to the Grand Cascapedia River. The sculptures were inspired by the artist's history with the river and the town – they celebrate her impressions and reflections on how the “Grand” supports the spirit and vitality of the community by providing one of the most beloved grounds for salmon fishing enthusiasts.

Featured will be the first two (2) and most recent works of local artist Renee Condo. These artworks chronicle the beginnings of an emerging artist.

We look forward to seeing you on the exhibit’s opening night!

Cover charge: $2 for members, $5 for non-members.
Children 12 and under enter free.
Wine, cheese crackers, fruit, tea, and coffee will be served.
A door prize will be given at the close of the evening.
